talkTEC Service Interruption

We're experiencing some intermittent traffic issues today with talkTEC, a problem caused by overloaded traffic to the internet translation services. While we are not strictly in control of this (I like to think of myself as clever, but still can't figure out how to control the entire Internet) we are working to more efficiently route our translation traffic to avoid this in the future.

Please bear with us as we work our magic to serve you better.

NEW FREE SERVICE - proxyTEC

Many companies block Second Life related websites because they've seen specials on their nightly news about how much time people spend on SL or how virtual worlds are eating up employee time.

Often, these blocks cover the Second Life website as well as the grid servers, just because they're paranoid.

So we put up proxyTEC - a proxy that allows you to bypass your network filters by using our site to surf your favorite sites.

What proxyTEC does is simple; you enter the website address you wish to surf, and proxyTEC will encode the address and call the site without ever sending the site's URL to your network or your IP address to the target server.

It's a free service; please don't do anything illegal or immoral with it.
