New website!

We've got a whole new commitment to our website now that URLs can be opened within the Second Life client. We started by putting our manuals online, but we'll be doing even more with product info, forums, and support features. Check out our recently redesigned forums and our new blog page for more info than you ever wanted about aubreTEC products.

Community calendar

We've added a new feature to the website - our community calendar. We'll be posting product releases as well as community events (such as release junkets and holiday parties) to this site using Google Calendar. Feel free to check the calendar from this site, or subscribe to the RSS feed for instant updates through your favorite feed reader. You may find our new calendar here.

Video Contest

We want to see videos of our products in action, so we're having a contest - 10,000L to the best video featuring aubreTEC, CERIX, or Wyvernclaw products.

Videos can be any length or style, with sound or without, as long as they prominently feature one of our products. To enter, upload your video directly to YouTube and use the share feature to send us a note to video@aubretec.com. Be sure to include your avatar's name.

Acceptable videos will be displayed on our site, and a winner shall be chosen on October 27th, 2007 (barring contest extensions). Read More...

talkTEC Service Interruption

We're experiencing some intermittent traffic issues today with talkTEC, a problem caused by overloaded traffic to the internet translation services. While we are not strictly in control of this (I like to think of myself as clever, but still can't figure out how to control the entire Internet) we are working to more efficiently route our translation traffic to avoid this in the future.

Please bear with us as we work our magic to serve you better.

NEW FREE SERVICE - proxyTEC

Many companies block Second Life related websites because they've seen specials on their nightly news about how much time people spend on SL or how virtual worlds are eating up employee time.

Often, these blocks cover the Second Life website as well as the grid servers, just because they're paranoid.

So we put up proxyTEC - a proxy that allows you to bypass your network filters by using our site to surf your favorite sites.

What proxyTEC does is simple; you enter the website address you wish to surf, and proxyTEC will encode the address and call the site without ever sending the site's URL to your network or your IP address to the target server.

It's a free service; please don't do anything illegal or immoral with it.

Forums Online!

We've integrated forums into our new website. Feel free to register and start posting away.
