The invinciBOT is a revolutionary anti-push, anti-damage combat tool. While the invinciBOT is engaged and operational parameters observed, you are safe from the vast majority of weapons in SL, including the non-physical bullets that plague most shields.

In this all-new version II, we scrapped every bit of code from the original invinciBOT and started over from scratch, with a smoother movement system, more advanced weaponry, and better customization. And let's face it: this one's a lot prettier than the last one.


OVERVIEW

It's best to think of invinciBOT as a type of vehicle. This is, essentially, how it operates. invinciBOT provides incredible protection by essentially keeping your avatar out of harm's way.

While there are many weapons that use non-physical, tracking bullets that pierce shields, very few are able to go through the ground. It is a standard limitation of the SL environment that objects not be able to travel below ground. What invinciBOT does, therefore, is allow you to sit on the bot (hence the vehicle aspect), and places your avatar *below* the ground where bullets cannot reach.

You see the SL world through the invinciBOT's point-of-view, and can communicate with others (depending on mode), but your avatar is actually far away from the bot itself.

And when it's not engaged, it's a great little follow bot that gives you access to powerful weapons.


MODES:

invinciBOT II features 7 modes of operation. While engaged, enjoy our new, smoother and more realistic, nonphysical movement engine. Nonphysical movement means you are completely immune from push and may pass through solid objects at will.

  1. STANDARD - Navigate through the bot's POV; your avatar is 50m underground. Good for protection from most weapons.
  2. DEEP - Navigate through the bot's POV; your avatar is 100m underground. Better protection against bot-targeted attacks.
  3. OFF-SIM - Navigate through the bot's POV; your avatar is completely out of the sim. The most complete protection available in SL.
  4. NON-PHYS - Simple non-phys movement mode; see yourself normally, but be completely immune from push (not damage).
  5. PHASE - Like non-phys, you see from your own POV and are immune from push. Unline non-phys, you can't be found on scanners or by tracking weapons while in PHASE mode.
  6. FOLLOW - While not engaged, the bot follows around just over your right shoulder, ready to blast anybody at your whim.
  7. STATIONARY - Command the bot to stay at a particular location.


ATTACKS:

Version 2.0 brings with it the fastest weapon movement available in SL, meaning lightning-fast tracking for those who flee your wrath. All of our default attacks use tracking, non-physical movement, so it cannot be deflected by barriers or physics disruptors.

All targeted attacks use either menu-driven or partial name targeting; your pick.

  1. KILL - Slicing through shields like butter, this weapon has caused almost instant death through every shield we've tested, including the most high-end shielding systems in SL.
  2. ORBIT - Launch your opponent straight up to the tune of 35-80 MILLION meters*. This amount of force will distort your opponent's av (no, really - see the pics).
  3. PULSE - Even stronger than ORBIT, this attack offers the strongest push available in SL, typically launching your enemies so high that SL can no longer calculate altitude.
  4. DISRUPT - Launch bots, vehicles - nearly any active physical object - off-world. See the look on your opponent's face (rhetorical) when his $700L attack bot ends up back in his lost and found.
  5. BLITZ - This attack uses unstable physics to disrupt your target. Because of the nature of this attack, we cannot guarantee results, unfortunately, as they depend on a number of variables, but effects can include death, bizarre relocations, or incredible push, even on push-restricted parcels.
  6. TRAP - Can't sit on it to get out. Can't sit on anything outside of it to get out, either. Our smart trap is one of the most irritating traps in SL.
  7. BURN - This tracking flame does a constant stream of adjustable damage to your enemy. A popular aubreTEC favorite, Burn has been souped up with a new blazing-fast movement engine.
  8. SMOKE - This cloud of smoke follows your target, obscuring their vision and making their position constantly apparent.
  9. IMITATE - Once a popular plug-in, IMITATE now comes included in every psiTEC. This gag allows you to imitate your target by creating an object that allows you to speak using their name.
  10. RECON - Want to listen to your far-away friends? Target the recon module on one, and you can continue to listen to conversation even as you wander away. Try not to use this to invade privacy, okay?
  11. TRACE - These creates a tracking stream of particles above your target's avatar, enabling you to follow their movements without giving away your own position.
  12. HUNT - Keep yourself out of range while still attacking your enemy with this sim-scouring hunter. This attack will search the entire sim (up to 768m) for your target and BLITZ 'em long-distance.
  13. SHOCKWAVE - Need some breathing room in combat? Push & damage everybody in a 20m radius.
  14. BERSERK - Instantly attack everybody (except your friends) within a 96m radius.
  15. PATHOGEN - This round will infect your target with a very slow-killing greenish pestilence that will spread to anyone who comes within 20m of him/her. Note that only the target is a "carrier" and may spread the pathogen; those who are infected by the target will not be able to spread it. This limitation is for sim safety.
  16. AUBRETOX - Issue aubreTOX from the bot, causing continual damage to anybody in range.
  17. FLOAT - Cause your target to float upward, even in no-push zones. This is a more prankish round than, say "Blitz;" the effects stop at around 700m and the effect is more gentle.


OTHER FEATURES:

  1. SPEECH - Speak, whisper, shout, or emote through your bot. The bot also repeats any text spoken in its presence that you are not close enough to hear yourself.
  2. COMPLETE CUSTOMIZATION - Use our new Colorizer system to set custom color schemes for your bot.
  3. HUD - This minimizable HUD will rez your bot and enable you to bring up menus. More importantly, it remembers all of your colors and settings, and applies them to each new bot you create.
  4. PSITEC INTEGRATION - psiTEC users will enjoy full Friend/Enemy list integration. The invinciBOT II reads your psiTEC's lists and uses them in its own BERSERK and GUARD features.
  5. DANA PERSONALITY CORE UPLINK - Each invinciBOT features an uplink to our new artificial intelligence personality, DANA. Chat with your bot and get AI responses from our AIML-based chat personality in progress.
  6. FREE UPDATES - Our improved update system delivers new versions as soon as they become available - automatically!
  7. MANY MORE FEATURES - From anti-physics to a renaming system, this bot covers the gambit of features that aubreTEC users have come to expect.


DISCLAIMERS:

It is natural that weapon developers will seek ways to defeat systems like this. At the time of production, we know of no damage weapons capable of penetrating the OFF-SIM mode, but we refuse to claim this will never happen. While we cannot theorize of a way to beat this, we have the deepest respect for Second Life innovators, and thus exercise caution in making claims. Be advised, then, that we are not claiming total invincibility because we don't wish to be bloody arrogant.

Why is this system cheaper than some come-lately alternatives? For good reason. We encourage our customers to use our entire line of products to good effect. Many of the weapons in invinciBOT mirror those in other aubreTEC weapons such as psiTEC and Black Widows. Because of the way invinciBOT works, we wanted to give these weapons as options to those familiar with our products, but wanted to keep price low so that psiTEC/Black Widow users would not be paying more for repeat weapons. Of course, if you don't use psiTEC or Black Widows, then you're perfectly welcomed to take advantage of this price moderation.

invinciBOT, like any other system that operates in this way, requires that you change certain preferences on your SL client. These preferences (such as disabling camera constraints and setting draw distance to as much as 300m) put extra strain on your system's resources. It is recommended that you change your preferences back when you are not using invinciBOT.
